The most resourceful thing is the river,

The thought of destroying it make me shiver,

It runs down a great mighty slope,

For the water carries people’s hope,

It can give birth to a land,

By lending one of its hopeful hands,

But it can also put people in mortal danger,

For a land’s best friend can be a complete stranger,

The water of a river is clear and transparent,

This source of freshness is almost like a parent,

It will take care of us only if we so the same,

And if we don’t, our lives will be nothing but a gambling game.
